Online Donations Surge

The ePhilanthropy Foundation reported excellent news for those of us who work in online fundraising – online donations have really increased in the past few years! In fact, the median increase is 496.2% since 2000. The article says that people are getting more comfortable with making transactions online. Sharon Corey from WGBH (one of the best in the biz) is quoted in the article on the topic of using e-mail and direct mail together and the increase in retention rates that they’ve seen.
