Understanding RSS Feeds

I have heard a lot of talk recently about RSS Feeds and how at some point RSS might replace e-newsletters — once most people have RSS readers. Because I am a fundraiser and marketer and not a techno-geek, I didn’t have a very clear understanding about what RSS feeds were and how they might be used by non-profit organizations, public radio etc…. But, today, Debbie Weil of WordBiz included a helpful link in her e-newsletter (It’s a really good newsletter by the way) that clearly explains what RSS is. There’s also a helpful Q and A section. The link is to a company called “Lockergnome” Strange name but interesting company and their website explains a lot of technical stuff in ways I could even understand.
